Elatest

Elatest is a simple portable apparatus designed for quick verification of documents using the basic checking methods of:

• detection of the luminescent effects provoked by UV radiation of 366 nm


• verifying the watermarks in a document by means of transillumination with planar white light source


• verification of covering elements in the IR area (IR luminescence and absorption)

The apparatus comes equipped with the above mentioned radiation sources and the verification is done by putting the document close to each of the light sources, visually checking the above mentioned covering marks. For IR checking the apparatus is equipped with a special video camera with high resolution capacity, complete with a set of changeable basic IR filters and a black and white monitor.
Grafolux Mini is used with a 12 V ss source, which enables its usage even in outside conditions, the source being a car battery or an additional accumulator. The apparatus comes equipped with an additional source for feeding from 230V/50Hz net.
Together with videoprocessor the Elatest can be used when rather demanding comparative methods for verification of documents are carried out, namely in co-operation with laboratories equipped with Grafolux apparatus. Elatest is fully compatible with them and can make use of their database.
Technical parameters of the apparatus can be adjusted according to the customer`s requests after mutual consultation.
