Reproduction equipment

The reproduction equipment is designed for taking photographs of different types of objects and documents. It consists of a stand with a fixed base plate (approx. 65 x 42 cm), a rod with a rack and a mount to hold the camera. The length of the rack along which the mount with the camera can be moved is approx. 65 cm.

The fixed base of the stand integrates a desk with a translucent backlit area to facilitate, for example, examination of the watermarks of the document under scrutiny. The translucent backlit area also effectively removes any unwanted shadows when taking photographs.
The 25 x 15 cm translucent area is backlit by a white fluorescent lamp with daylight characteristics (approx. 5000° K).

Lighting is provided by 2 fluorescent tubes (again 5000° K) that ensure more even illumination of the work area than traditional lighting using bulbs (although it can be ordered as well).

The lights are connected to the 230V receptacles at the back of the base.



The fluorescent lighting and the translucent backlit desk are switched on/off separately by switches on the front of the base.
The picture on the left shows standard fluorescent lighting with two 8W tubes (chromaticity temperature is 5000° K which corresponds to daylight).

The camera is attached by means of a standard tripod screw to the mount which allows for tilting or rotating the camera position.

The whole equipment is supplied from the 230 V / 50 Hz grid.

Alternatively, it is possible to install fluorescent lamps with UV 366 nm tubes. This will enable quick and easy examination or photographic documentation of the document under scrutiny in the UV radiation range. The 12 W illumination fixtures are placed in holders that can be adjusted upwards/downwards and sideways.



The pictures show equipment with two UV lights installed.

If you plan to use your own standard lights, you can order mounts for standard illumination bodies (picture on the right) that can be attached on the rods.
